Programme Outcomes

Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.):

The students after doing B.Com. are eligible for admission to Postgraduate programme M.Com. They can also go for postgraduate diploma courses like P.G.D.C.A etc. They can go for M.B.A., M.C.A. also. They can also compete in various competitive exams like HPAS, IAS, IPS, IRS, and Banking sector. They can apply for jobs in various accounts departments in private and public sector. They can also go for CA, CMA, ICWA, CS courses.

Master of Commerce (M. Com.):

The students may go for research degrees of M.Phil. and Ph. D.  They can join courses like CA/ICWA. They can appear in exams like SLET and NET etc. and choose career in teaching as assistant professors in colleges and universities.  Then can do B.Ed. and opt teaching jobs as PGTs in Schools.

The programme enables the students to develop business acumen, managerial skills and abilities, and be capable of maintaining business accounts.

Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.):

  1. The program will enable students to develop business acumen, managerial skills and abilities, and be capable of maintaining business accounts
  2. Students will be able to communicate effectively both in terms of business as well as social interaction.
  3. The program will encourage entrepreneurship spirit among students and encourage them to participate effectively in social, commercial and civic issues ultimately leading to national development
  4. The program will develop the ability to think critically and independently translating into a well-developed personal value system.
  5. Students have choices to pursue professional courses such as CA, M.COM, MBA, CMA, ICWA, CS, etc
  6. Students are able to play roles of businessmen, entrepreneur, managers, consultant, which will help learners to possess knowledge and other soft skills and to react aptly when confronted with critical decision making.

Master of Commerce (M. Com.):

  1. The program will enable students to critically interact with works from different contexts.
  2. Study of literature helps the students to interpret and explore relationships from the points of view of different people.
  3. The students also learn what language is and what knowledge of language consists of. This is done with the basic examination of internal organization of sentences, words and sound systems.
