Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce at Maharana Pratap Govt. Degree College, Amb, was established in 2002 with the mission of imparting quality education in commerce and management with B.Com. and in M.Com. was started by the department in the year 2017. The department focuses on developing a deep understanding of business principles, financial management, and entrepreneurial skills, preparing students for successful careers in the corporate and business world.

The department is headed by Prof. Jameet Kumar, an experienced academic leader with extensive expertise in commerce education and a dedication to nurturing student potential. The department has 4 sanctioned posts, all of which are currently filled by highly qualified faculty members committed to academic excellence and holistic student development.
