NCC

NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth organization in India that aims to develop character, discipline, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship, and patriotism among young individuals, ultimately shaping them into responsible and valuable citizens. In this college, there is one unit of the NCC, overseen by a Caretaker Officer named Mr. Anil Verma. Currently, there is a vacancy of 50 cadets in the college unit. The NCC program provides a platform for students to actively engage in various activities that promote leadership, teamwork, and a sense of social responsibility. It encourages cadets to develop a disciplined and principled lifestyle, fostering qualities that are essential for personal and professional growth. The primary objective of the NCC is to instill a sense of nationalism and patriotism among the youth. By participating in NCC activities, cadets develop a deep appreciation for their country, its rich heritage, and the values that bind its diverse population together. The NCC also focuses on cultivating a spirit of adventure and sportsmanship among cadets. It provides opportunities for them to engage in outdoor activities, such as trekking, mountaineering, sailing, and other adventure sports. These experiences not only enhance physical fitness but also develop qualities like courage, perseverance, and determination. Moreover, the NCC promotes a secular outlook, encouraging cadets to respect and appreciate the diversity of religions, languages, and cultures in India. It fosters an inclusive environment that celebrates unity in diversity and builds harmonious relationships among individuals from different backgrounds.

The Caretaker Officer, Prof. Anil Verma, plays a crucial role in overseeing the functioning of the NCC unit in the college. He guides and supports the cadets in their training, organizes camps, and ensures that the NCC activities align with the objectives of the program. Under his supervision, the cadets receive valuable mentorship and guidance to develop their leadership skills and overall personality. With a vacancy of 50 cadets, the college has an opportunity to recruit interested students into the NCC unit. This recruitment process involves identifying individuals who display the potential for leadership, discipline, and commitment. Once enrolled, these cadets will participate in training sessions, camps, and various NCC events, benefiting from the holistic development offered by the NCC program.
