The Department of Physics at Maharana Pratap Govt. Degree College, Amb, was established in 1972 with the vision of imparting quality education and fostering a strong foundation in the field of Physics, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and experimental aspects of Physics. The department is currently headed by Prof. Rekha Sharma, a distinguished academic with extensive experience in teaching. The department has 4 sanctioned posts of Assistant/Associate Professors, all of which are presently filled with highly qualified faculty members dedicated to the academic growth and overall development of the students.
