ADMISSION NOTICE
The admission in the college will be on the basis of roll-on system. Students of all classes (BA/B.Sc & B.Com.I,II,III) will seek provisional admission from 11th June, 2013 to 20th June 2013 (without late fee) and from 21st June 2013 to 30th June 2013 (with late fee). At the time of admission, three months dues will be charged. In case, a student fails in a particular class, he/she will automatically go to lower class. His/her dues will be adjusted in lower class. This decision was taken in the Principals Conference held on 8th may, 2010 in the Directorate of Education, Shimla under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary (Education) Govt. of Himachal Pradesh.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION
A Student seeking admission should report to the concerned admission committee with documents given below :-
1 Application form must be properly and completely filled by the candidate in his/her own hand and duly signed by him/her and also by his/her
parents/guardian at the relevant places.
2. i) The biodata card must be properly and completely filled in by the candidate in his/her own hand and duly signed by him/her.
ii) The candidate must fill in his/her permanent home address in block letters on the post cards meant for House Examination and PTA.
3. All the documents i.e. Biodata, application form, post card and attested copies of certificates must be attached with a tag only.
4. All original certificates/testimonials must be brought to the concerned admission committee for verification at the time of counselling.
5. The photographs must be pasted firmly at the given space with a strong adhesive (not pinned or stapled).
After the approval by admission Committee, scrutiny committee and finally by the Principal, the candidate will have to deposit the fee/dues at the fee counter and obtain receipt showing the college roll number.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following courses against subsidized / non-subsidized seats under Self-financing scheme for academic year 2016-17 :
Entrance Test/Merit basis
* For SC/ST Category eligibility will be 45% marks.
** If the no. of applicants is less than the no. of seats then the admission will be done on
the basis of merit in the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 or Graduation (which ever is applicable).
*** The college is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla-171005.
